Tony McNally

My name is Tony McNally, I served in the British army as a Royal Artillery Gunner. As a young 19-year-old soldier I was sent to fight in the Falklands War as a Rapier missile operator. After serving in Northern Ireland I left the forces and was diagnosed with PTSD (Post traumatic Stress Disorder) I was told to go away and write down my thoughts and feelings, this lead to me writing the book the best selling book Watching Men Burn. I now live in the tranquil English Lake district with my wife Linda and my two Labrador dogs, where I continue to write, especially poetry, which I find very therapeutic and helpful with my PTSD. My other interests are Rugby League, football and enjoying my family. I have now published my book of Trauma poetry and short story about World War One titled Screaming In Silence and 'Still Watching Men Burn.'
